Ed Hernandez serves on the Board of Directors for TPEDF, bringing extensive experience in corporate finance, business consulting, and public education advocacy. Born in Mexico, Ed built a successful career specializing in business growth, operational efficiency, and corporate scaling, earning his MBA before relocating to Southlake, Texas, in 2016 to expand his work in consulting.

As the parent of a special needs child, Ed became deeply committed to public education advocacy, particularly after witnessing the critical gaps in special education services during the COVID-19 pandemic. His experience fueled a passion for ensuring that all students, especially those requiring specialized support, receive the services and opportunities they deserve.

Ed has been actively involved with organizations dedicated to advancing public education and continues to focus on developing innovative, student-centered solutions. He remains committed to bridging gaps in educational access and supporting both students and teachers across Texas.
